CAN I TAKE ENJOY THE GARDENS WITHOUT PAYING?
An unaccompanied visit of the landscaped gardens is included in the guided tour of the Museum. It is not possible to enjoy the park of the Château de Laàs free of charge! You must purchase a ticket for one of our activities.

The Château de Laàs, a 17th century castle well known for its rich history, has been managed since 2017 by a private company as part of a public service delegation. In this context, the name Serbat Museum was chosen in 2018 in tribute to Louis and Madeleine Serbat, wealthy private collectors to whom we owe the magnificent collection of the Château. But in 2021, after 3 years of use, it turned out that this name confused the message and the name of Musée du Château de Laàs was definitively adopted. At the heart of the estate, the company has set up its flagship activity Le Château des Enigmes, a route of riddles in the 12 hectares of gardens, which is why you can also find several indications indicating this activity within the estate and at the surroundings. SHOULD I BOOK MY TICKETS IN ADVANCE? ARE THEY REFUNDABLE?
It is not compulsory to book your tickets in advance but it is strongly recommended in order to ensure that you can enjoy the tour of your choice, especially during school holidays. To do so, simply click on the book a ticket tab. It is also possible to obtain pre-booked tickets at the estate’s main reception. Bookings cannot be accepted by telephone. The sale of tickets or services is deemed to be a sale of services and leisure activities and does not entitle the customer to a withdrawal period. Tickets cannot be refunded or resold.
ARE THE VISITS GUIDED?
All visits to the Museum of the Château de Laàs must be guided. You will be required to stay with the guide at all times during the tour. Self-guided tours are not possible.
ARE PUSHCHAIRS AND BACKPACKS ALLOWED IN THE MUSEUM?
Pushchairs are allowed inside the museum. Baby carriers are not allowed, but baby carriers are available for loan at the reception desk. We recommend that you do not visit with bulky luggage, suitcases or bags. Items larger than 55 x 35 x 20 cm are not allowed in the museum premises. Rucksacks must be left in the reception area at the start of the tour or placed in front of it, but may not be kept on your back.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR VISITORS WITH DISABILITIES?

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?
Online payments are only possible with a credit card. Subject to availability, you can also buy your tickets at the estate’s reception and pay by credit card, cheque, holiday vouchers, ANCV connect or in cash.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO EAT OR DRINK INSIDE THE MUSEUM?
To protect the collections, it is strictly forbidden to eat or drink inside the Museum.
ARE ANIMALS ALLOWED IN THE MUSEUM?
Animals are prohibited inside the Museum, with the exception of guide dogs.
AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES?
Photography and filming are permitted for private purposes In the permanent collection rooms. Selfie sticks, flash photography and other lighting devices are not permitted.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE MY TICKET TO ENTER OF THE DOMAIN AND LEAVE SEVERAL TIMES ON THE SAME DAY?
Yes, you can come and go as you please, following the instructions provided by the reception team. Just make sure you don’t lose your ticket. The ticket only allows access on the day and at the time of the chosen guided tour.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO SMOKE WITHIN THE ESTATE?
Smoking and the electronic cigarettes are strictly forbidden on the property.
