THE MUSEUM OF THE CHÂTEAU DE LAÀS, ONE OF THE JEWELS OF THE BÉARN DES GAVES

THIS AREA WHERE HISTORY JOINS FORCES WITH GASTRONOMY AND THE LAND

Once you’ve visited the Museum of the Château, broken free from one of our two Escape Game rooms, helped Willy become a sorcerer’s apprentice in our game trail, and slept in one of our treehouses, what more is there to do in Béarn des Gaves?

Fancy visiting our towns and villages? Make sure you take a trip to Salies-de-Béarn, Navarrenx and Sauveterre-de-Béarn.

Fancy savouring the local gastronomy? Make your way to one of the many restaurants that showcase our gourmet specialities. We strongly recommend that you try the menu at the Auberge de la Fontaine in Laàs, just a few metres from the Castle. Please note that you are strongly advised to book. Find the full list on the Tourist Office website.

Fancy a walk in the great outdoors? Several walks and hiking trails await you in Béarn des Gaves. Whether you are on foot or travelling by bicycle, there is something for everyone in our region. View the full list by clicking here!

Fancy a more water-based experience? Some fishing, a wellness break at Salies-de-Béarn spa or a rafting trip, the choice is yours.

For further information, we advise you to visit our institutional partners’ websites, such as the Béarn des Gaves Tourist Office and the ADT 64 websites to find out more about tourism in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.
